- Made of 108 small, well used bodhi beads. Each bead is rich in detail with a beautiful sheen as well as its own shape and texture. The mala has been restrung in recent years on traditional yellow cord with yellow and red tassels that allow for adjustability.

On their trip to Nepal in October 2019, DharmaShop owners, Christy and Sander Cohen were walking a kora around the Boudhanath stupa when they saw an individual seller with a variety of bodhi seed malas. As they began talking with the seller, monks from the nearby monastery came by and they discussed the beautiful quality of the beads. We were able to find the same seller and source a handful of truly incredible antique bodhi seed malas from him once again!
Mala measures approximately 38.5 inches around. Beads are 10-11mm. Guru bead is about 16mm. Comes with a DharmaShop keepsake bag!
